Good mouse for a gamer on the move. This is especially true if you have larger hands like I do. Great mouse for any laptop. However, if you plan to be stationary for any length of time and larger sized mouse would probably be a better investment for comforts sake. For those who lugging around a larger mouse is not an option, this mouse is fantastic. The new nano receivers are a must. Mouse is solid with a high dpi, great response time, and programmable buttons.
I hate those things. This is a great mouse but for me it's too small to use comfortably for a long stretch of time. Still, better than using the touch pad.
Besides that, it is an acceptable mouse and substitute for my mighty mouse, which although it was great when it worked, had a scroll wheel that always died (I've gone through 3 mice (all free). It zooms erratically in and out of the map when you are just moving the mouse from side to side. that kicked the bucket despite cleaning them and doing tricks with tape). This mouse is pretty great--can customize it to work with Expose on my iMac, etc. Scrolling in hyperfast mode is definitely useful, but the little ball mechanism in the mouse or whatever makes it spin that fast can screw a ton of things up, for example, when you are looking at google maps.
I love how nothing hangs off of the laptop, so I can easily put the laptop in its case and move on. Even though it gets quite a bit of use (at least a couple hours each day, and typically closer to three or four), the batteries last for months. The USB receiver is fantastic. I never remove it, unless I plan to take the Nano somewhere my laptop will not be. For a small mouse, the Nano is very comfortable and useful. Honestly, I do not know why so many other notebook accesories still have such long receivers. However, after using it all day, my hand does start to feel uncomfortable, but I have no problems using for a few hours at a time. I know of no other mouse this size with all the features the Nano has. Still, after using the Nano for about a year, I have no regrets. The battery life is quite good.
burn me three times. Expense lesson to learn. This is the last Logitech mouse I will ever own.
You can leave it plugged in to your laptop all the time because it is so low profile. The trouble is. I've only had this thing 2 weeks.Buyer beware of Logitech products, this is the 3rd Logitech mouse I have owned and all three have died a premature death. I bought this mouse for travel, and what really caught my eye was the nano receiver.
One 2 weeks, another 3 months, and another 4 months. shame on me. that little nano receiver died on me.
Now when I plug it in my computer doesn't recognize the USB device.
